Hi! My name is Angie and I’m the Purple Craft Diva.

Since I was young I’ve been crazy about crafts and all things creative. 

While my classmates were crazy about movie stars and athletes, I was crazy about Martha Stewart. LOL  Crafting wasn’t the cool thing to do, so I hid my craftiness for a while, suppressing my inner creativity.  At some point in my life I decided, WHO CARES?  I’m gonna let my creativity soar.

After many years, glue gun burns, paper cuts, and tons of fun later, I have blossomed into the crafting diva I am today.  I have dabbled in almost EVERY craft.  Scrapbooking, painting, sewing, crocheting, baking, jewelry making, home decor, woodworking…and the list goes on and on. I’m known for being creative, and I think that’s a pretty cool thing to be known for.  

I choose to write this blog, not just as a hobby, but as my mission. 

I believe God gives each of us skills and abilities for purpose.  Encouraging others and being creative are some of the gifts God gave me, and I intend to use those gifts for HIS glory.  Being the Purple Craft Diva is part of who God created me to be.

Simply put, Purple Craft Diva is about Creativity and the Ultimate Creator!

Personally, I’m just a fun-loving, passionate woman that loves God and all things creative.  I was raised in a Christian home and was a Pastor’s kid for most of my life.  My loving father went to be with the Lord in January 2020 and now I proudly serve under my brother’s pastoral leadership. Christianity is not just a “religion” to me.  Jesus Christ is my everything and by having a relationship with Christ I am able to live a joyous, peaceful life beyond measure…and you can too!  

Yep, hobby Stores make me happy and my craft room is my favorite place in the house.  I have 7 wonderful nieces and nephews who are my heart and being their Auntie is one of my favorite jobs!
