2020 Black Friday Craft Sales
Craft Sales Overload
During Black Friday many people are searching for electronics or other gifts but forget that craft stores also have Black Friday Craft Sales. Actually, there are sales EVERYWHERE! I don’t know about you, but I get a little overwhelmed with all the sales. I want to find good deals, but not sure which stores has the best deals. Well I’ve taken the guess work out of your Black Friday Shopping for craft supplies.
I’ve compiled a list of the BEST Black Friday craft sales from Joann, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby (which I refer to as the trifecta or Trinity of craft stores LOL). My picks are the best bang for your buck or the rarest deals available for each product. What’s great is that almost all of these items are available online too, so you don’t have to fight the store crowd. My suggestion is to buy early though, because many of these hot items will sell out fast. If you see something you want…get it and don’t wait.
Joann
Joann’s Black Friday starts Wednesday Morning at 6am and goes through Saturday. They are closed on Thursday. Joann is also offering 25% off all regular priced stuff if you order online and pick up in store.
- Fleece and Snuggle Flannel – 60-70% off
- Christmas Decor – 70% (biggest discount at any store, but is very picked over at the physical store. Best bet is to shop for these online)
- Sewing Machines starting at $69
- Cricut Supplies – 50% off (this is rarely ever 50% off so stock-up)
- Gildan T-shirts are 5 for $10 (trust me, just order these online. The tshirt aisle in the store is a madhouse)
- Cardstock-70% off
- Bernat yarn – $5.99/skein (yes, you read that right. HUGE deal)
- Simplicity patterns – 99 cents
- Deco Mesh – Buy 1 Get 3 Free
- Special Occasion Fabric – 70% Off
Michaels
Michaels Black Friday is Wednesday – Saturday, but the stores are closed on Thursday.
- Christmas Trees – up to 70% off. Michael’s is the place to go if you want a tree this year. Walmart was the only other place that had a great selection for a fair price.
- Frames and Shadow boxes – 70% off
- Strung jewelry beads – 70% off (Cheaper than Joann)
- Santa figurines – 50% off (and they have multicultural ones)
- Christmas ornaments – 50% off (the most unique of any store)
- All Happy Planner items – 50% off
- Art kits – $9.99 (great gifts for craft teens or adults)
Hobby Lobby
Hobby Lobby doesn’t really do Black Friday but several of the items on their weekly ad are worth mentioning. Also, Hobby Lobby is the LARGEST selection for Christmas decorations.
- Everything Christmas – 50% Off
- All Fall Decor – 80% off (I racked up on this last year)
- The wedding aisle – 50% Off
- Everyday Home Decor – 50% Off (this is 50% Off every other week, but if you are out shopping for gifts, it’s a good idea to get it now)
Shop and have fun
The most important part of all this is to have fun and get some things you want/need at an affordable price. I’m all about the sales, so these Black Friday Craft Sales are great for loading up on supplies without blowing the bank. Crafting doesn’t have to get expensive, you can make beautiful things on a budget as I talk about in almost every blog post. I hope this helps you do some great shopping. Here’s to an amazing Holiday Season!
Until next time…Stay Crafty!
