Easy DIY Dollar Tree Pumpkin Tutorial for Your Fall Decor
Fall is pumpkin season. The leaves are falling. The wind is blowing and the temperature is dropping. Grab yourself a sweater, a warm latte and let’s craft a DIY Dollar Tree Pumpkin.
This DIY is quick and great for crafters at all levels. You can get all the supplies at the Dollar Tree or any dollar store for less than $5. How amazing right? Custom decor and crafting does not have to be expensive.
Why Make Custom Pumpkins?
When I first finished this pumpkin, I sent a picture to my family with the words “how cute!” My brother in law responded, “I don’t know why a pumpkin needs a sweater, but he’s all dressed up and looking good.” So funny! It made realize that I should explain better the benefits of creating custom fall decor.
If you are not a regular crafter, and normally just buy ready-made decor for your home…First I want to say welcome to a whole new world of possibilities. Secondly, let me encourage you, making custom decor helps make your home more personal. Listen, I’m a bling girl, so I made some rhinestone bling pumpkins for my home as well (Here’s the video for that tutorial) Also, It gives you a sense of accomplishment. Every time you walk past your creation you’ll feel like I DID THAT!
Let’s Get Crafting
For this tutorial, I recorded a video so you can follow along. This country chic project is the beginning a four-part custom DIY Pumpkin series. Make sure to check out all four pumpkin tutorials: Country Chic, Modern, Cozy, and Bling (cause this diva have to have bling somewhere LOL).
