2022 Black Friday Craft Sales

Here are my Suggestions for Shopping Black Friday Craft Sales:

• If you see it grab it.  Don’t wait because things sell out quickly.
• Buy online.  Ditch the lines and do it online.  If shipping is an issue, you can pick up in store at most locations.
• Buy NOW.  You don’t have to wait until Black Friday.  Most stores have sales going on before Black Friday hits.

Joann

Joann’s Black Friday Sale started the Monday before Black Friday and continues through Cyber Monday. Different doorbusters come out everyday, but there is no need to wait because the good stuff is already on sale. They are offering a 20% coupon off your total purchase that you can apply.

Joann’s biggest deal is up to 75% Holiday floral. Those are savings we normally don’t see until after Christmas. Also, they are matching competitors prices on sewing machines!

Here’s a list of Joann’s best of the best discounts this Black Friday:

• Holiday Crafting – 50% off
• Fleece – $3.99/yard
• Sewing Machines starting at $35 WOWZERS! (That’s a mini sewing machine but the standards ones start at $79 which is still a great price.)
• Cricut Supplies – 50% off (this is rarely ever 50% off so stock-up)
• No-Sew Blanket kits for $6 (a good family project)
• Strung Beads – $2.99
• Customizable Fabric – 40% off (this is huge because custom fabrics are EXPENSIVE)
• Siser 36″ Heat Transfer Vinyl – $9.99

Michaels

Michaels Black Friday is like most other stores, it started a whole week before Black Friday. Sales are live now. I think Michaels best deal this Black Friday is the sale on their Christmas Trees. They have several 7.5ft Pre-lit Christmas Trees for $129. That’s a great deal and they come in various styles.

• Christmas Trees – Starting at $89
• Holiday Ribbon, Mesh and Bows – 70% (you can find this same deal at other locations, but Michaels has a huge ribbon selection. So if that’s what you are looking for, I’d go there.)
• Picture Frames – 70% off Michaels is known for discounted picture frames and shadow boxes. But 70% off is one of the best sales I seen on them. Go get them!
• Canvases – Buy one Get Two Free (Best deal around)
• They are also running the same sale as Joann on 36″ Siser Rolls and Cricut supplies. Those are good deals no matter where you get them from.
• Their holiday decor – 60%, that is not the cheapest around but Michael’s has some of the most unique and multi cultural Christmas decorations around!!

Hobby Lobby

Hobby Lobby doesn’t really do Black Friday but several of the items on their weekly ad are worth mentioning.  Also, Hobby Lobby is the LARGEST selection for Christmas decorations.  

• Everything Christmas – 60% Off
• All Fall Decor – 75% off (I racked up on this every year)
• The wedding aisle – 40% Off
• Everyday Home Decor – 50% Off (this is 50% Off every other week, but if you are out shopping for gifts, it’s a good idea to get it now)

Black Friday Craft Sale Trends

I’ve noticed that most 2022 Black Friday Sales are not as good as previous years, around the board. It’s a rough year for retailer and lots of them are cutting back on the savings and it’s understandable.

The most important part of all this is to have fun and get some things you want/need at an affordable price. If you plan properly, you can make beautiful things on a budget as I talk about in almost every blog post. I hope this helps you do some great shopping. Here’s to an amazing Holiday Season!
