Have you heard of the Among Us Game? Well I hadn’t until about 6 months ago when my niece and nephew told me all about how the game is SO FUN. As they were describing the game to me, my crafty mind started to think of fun Among Us crafts we could do together.

So here’s a list of 13 easy Among Us crafts you can do today from some amazing crafters. There’s something on this for everyone.

What the heck is Among Us anyway?

I asked my niece and nephew to show me what Among Us was all about. They whipped out their iPads and tried to explain that it’s a game they play online. The ultimate goal is to figure out who is “The Imposter.” Listen, I still didn’t get it.

I went straight to Google, because I Google everything duh. Among Us is a very popular multi-player video game.  It takes place in a space-themed setting and each player, called a crewmember tries to guess who is “The Imposter” through a series of activities. Ultimately, it sounds like a modern day “Clue” game, set in outer space, but I’m still a little cloudy on all the details.

Why Among Us Crafts?

Crafting is a good way to bond with the kids. By doing one of the following easy Among Us craft ideas, you are creating memories with them, learning what they’re interested in, working and laughing together, and just spending quality time together.

Crafting also has great learning and life benefits. For example, crafting builds motor skills, enhances creativity, teaches you how to follow instructions and so much more.

13 Easy Among Us Crafts

Among Us Shrinky Dinks

#1 – DIY Among Us Shrinky Dinks Keychain

This Shrinky Dinks Keychain is the craft I did for my little lovebugs. School was starting and I wanted to make them something cute and trendy for their backpacks. The Shrinky Dinks paper can be found at: Michaels and I used THIS Among Us png template from Etsy. You will also need sharpie markers or colored pencils in the colors you want, a jump ring and a Split rings.

• Print the design out twice the size that you want the keychain to be.
• Trace the design onto the Shrinky Dinks paper with your black sharpie or colored pencil. If you have a laser printer you can print it right on paper. (Inkjet printers smudge on basic Shrinky Dinks paper. They do have a special inkjet paper you can buy that costs a bit extra)
• Fill in the crewmember character with the color you choose. (I found that the colored pencils worked better to fill in large areas.)
• Cut the shape out and punch a hole in the top with a whole punch.
• Place in the oven according to the Shrink Dinks package instructions and watch it shrink and harden in a matter of seconds.
• Attach the Split ring with the jump ring and Enjoy!

Pro Tip: The Shrinky Dink paper is super cool to watch shrink in the oven. The kids (and adults) will love this part.
